The nominated books for the Rhode Island Children's Book Award for 2010 have been announced and there are some wonderful books on the list! First, I'm sure you'll all recognize our good friend Alvin Ho by Lenore Look. Others that I've read and enjoyed are Shooting the Moon by Francis O'Roark Dowell and Eleven by Patricia Reilly Giff.
